Privacy Policy

What we collect

• —Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password.
• —Baby profile: your baby's name and, optionally, their birth date.
• —Sleep events: timestamps of sleep and wake events you log.
• —Caregiver data: email addresses of people you invite to share access.
• —Push notification subscription: a browser-issued endpoint token, stored only if you enable reminders.
• —Alexa account link: an access token used to identify your account when you use the Nyra Alexa skill. No voice data is stored.

How we use your data

• —To authenticate you and display your baby's sleep history.
• —To send push notifications when your baby has been awake for an extended period, if you opt in.
• —To allow caregivers you explicitly invite to view and log sleep events.
• —To provide voice logging through the Nyra Alexa skill, if you enable account linking.

What we do not do

• —We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third-party providers, advertisers, or analytics services.
• —We do not use your data for any purpose beyond operating the Nyra app.
• —We do not store your plain-text password. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage.

Data deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the settings page. Deletion is permanent and immediate.
